Hello, Sonoma Marin Web is a web development company started by myself, Bill Olson. This page is a brief bit of history on my personal background, in regards to my relationship with art, web and graphic design. I've been working with computers and creating art since I was a young child, having one of the earliest Apple computers as well as the original Adobe Photoshop program.

Growing up I was also fortunate enough to be one of the few people at the time with home access to one of the earlier forms of the internet ,having had the text only Compuserve.

I'm a Sonoma County CA native and currently live among the giant redwoods between Occidental and Bodega. Having been raised here I have a deep respect for the entire San Francisco bay area. I appreciate this areas beautifully diverse and natural surroundings as well as our creative, intelligent & eclectic population.

I believe in alternative energy and have been complete off the power grid since 2005. A way of living of which I much enjoy, as even when those on the grid lose their power, I've got electricity and of course high speed internet.

My passions include some of the more traditional fine art mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography. I find a lot of pleasure in the amalgamation between art and computer technology.

A perspective that's engrained me with an interest and knowledge in computer technology and digital art, and which eventually led me into the field of web design back in 2002.

My life's experiences all lend themselves to my style and skills as a web and graphic designer, and of which can be of benefit to you on your design project.
